In May, I'm off for my first field season with the Kluane Red Squirrel Project! I'm going to dive into the world of squirreling and learn as much as I can about the field station and these critters I hope to follow for the next 5 years. I'll be helping with general field tasks and collecting data for a project involving experimental manipulation of stress hormones. Plus, hanging out with my new lab mate Travis Bautista!
While I'm sad to be leaving my beloved Fort Collins for the summer, I'm thrilled to be embarking on a new adventure in the Yukon. I'll still be near the Rockies... just the Canadian side instead... taking my move from Colorado in baby steps.
