I recently accepted an offer to join Dr. Ben Dantzer's lab, as a PhD pre-candidate, at University of Michigan in the Biopsychology area of the Psychology Department! I hope to continue researching the evolution and plasticity of animal behavior, and continue with outreach and mentoring. I'm excited for the work ahead and look forward to moving to beautiful Ann Arbor and exploring Michigan. I'm sure I will grow to love it as much as I love Fort Collins.
Lots of new changes in the Hoke Lab! We recently added two new post-docs, Drs. Jenny Stynoski and Laura Stein, as well as two new graduate students, Kim Dolphin and Jacob Edwards. Lots of fun work to come in the future with the millions of guppies being born in the lab. Also, Eva Fischer is completing her PhD in May and will be moving to Boston to start her post-doc with Dr. Lauren O'Connell!
