I'm excited to receive the UM Libraries Student Mini-Grant for my project to bring ecology and evolution to low-income communities in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti! I will be partnering with UM Libraries and M.Y.E.L.I.N. to establish a small guppy colony at UMich specifically for the purpose of outreach. With support from the Community Action Network, these guppies will travel to local community centers as a tool for expanding ecology and evolution education.
