Made it to Squirrel Camp and hit the ground running! I'm learning a lot from my fellow squirrelers and hare folk. We're working hard on the stress manipulation experiments and general tracking of squirrels. But today, we took a break for the afternoon and hiked up to the cirque (or the seat) of King's Throne in Kluane National Park. We had a beautiful view of Kathleen Lake and many wildflowers!
We made some snow angels and a snow squirrel at the top of the hike to get some relief from the heat!
On the 28th, we had a beautiful morning of fog after a rainy day. Moose and elk were out on the road with the cooler temps on the way to Whitehorse.
